Road Trip

Well, I just took a road trip to Nebraska and back, and here are the pictures. (And the general story of the trip)

                                             Utah

This was in Salt Lake City, Utah. It's a huge organ with 11,623 pipes and is considered to be one of the finest organs in the world.

                                                              Wyoming
This is Devils Tower in Wyoming.

A closer up shot of Devils Tower. Here you can see the stone columns that make this a climbing hotspot.

                                                       South Dakota

This was in South Dakota. I think the picture pretty much explains itself.

This is a big horn sheep with a death wish. It was standing in the middle of the road as you can see. Of course, I had to get a picture of it. :)

This is that big horn sheep walking past our car, completely ignoring us.

Mount Rushmore.

This is Crazy Horse Memorial. It has been under construction since 1948.

This is a rock spire in Badlands National Park.

Utah

This is a rather interesting something we saw somewhere in the salt flats, a 100 some-odd mile stretch of nothing.

And here's a picture of the salt flats. It's fairly blurry, as it was taken from a moving car, but you can pretty much tell that there's nothing much to see. We baisicly drove through around 100 miles of this.

Anyway, that's my pictures! Hopefully I didn't bore you TOO much. :)

My life

Well, I havn't posted in  a while, mainly because my life has been fairly uneventful lately, and because I suppose I need to post SOMETHING every once in a while, I'll tell you about what's going on in my life right now, however boring it may be. Okay, so recently I've been refereeing a lot, (for those of you who don't know, I am a soccer referee.) and have decided that I love tournaments. They're awsome because you get free food, extra pay, and you can take more games per day than usual. The tournament I just reffed in  was the Kick or Treat tournament, which was Halloween weekend, so a lot of teams had matching costumes instead of their regular uniforms. Other than lots of refereeing, I have been going on with life as usual, which means doing climbing, (I'm on the rock climbing team at City Beach.) soccer and band. My band, for those of you who are sadly uninformed, is a Venture Scout band, which means it's Boy Scouts, we get to choose what we do, and girls can be in it too.We are a jazz band, and we play regularly on the third Tuesday of the month at Pizza Patio, and we also do whatever gigs we have scheduled. There's also LARP going on of course, and I think most of you who read my blog know what LARP is, but if you don't, LOOK IT UP, as I am too lazy to explain it right now. I'll also be taking a road trip soon, so I'll post about that hopefully, but other than that, I'm probably not gonna be posting much. Hope you enjoyed my rather long and boring post on my life, but if you didn't, DEAL WITH IT. It IS my blog after all. :)
