Rattlesnake Rendezvous

I just got back from the Rattlesnake Rendezvous. Rattlesnake is a thing where a bunch of people go out camping and live like native americans for a few days. Most grown ups would describe it as a camping trip where you have to cook over an open fire, and you could do stuff like making flutes and weaving nets. I would describe it as a place where you can trap and eat mice, then watch the instuctor use the mouse skin as a finger puppet, go swimming in the creek,make turkey traps, push someone on the rope swing while trying to hit the boys with it, and use an atlatl (spear thrower) to throw long darts.
